Access & safety
How we work where access is hard.
Presence is not enough. Evidence from difficult places has to be safe to collect, ethical to hold and rigorous enough to trust.
Four commitments hold on every assignment, whether our teams are on site or working remotely.
01 Local access Directly contracted field teams drawn from the communities we work in, with the language, networks and acceptance that make access possible.
Presence
02 Duty of care Security assessments before deployment, movement protocols and check-in routines, and the authority for any team member to pause work.
Safety
03 Remote methods When physical access closes, phone surveys, remote key-informant interviews and geotagged photo verification keep the evidence flowing.
Continuity
04 Ethics and consent Informed consent, data minimization and do-no-harm reviews, with sensitive data held securely and shared only with those who need it.
Trust
